There are tons of great restaurants & places to shop at Whaler's Village! Our favorite restaurants are Leilani's & Ulu Kitchen (the octopus escargot is AMAZING)!
The Kāʻanapali Beach Walk is a paved oceanfront path that traces the length of Kāʻanapali’s three-mile shoreline, linking major resorts, Whalers Village, and Puʻu Kekaʻa (Black Rock). It’s easy to navigate, great for sunrise or sunset strolls, and can be done in sections or as an out-and-back of roughly 5–5.5 miles. This is one of Devon's favorite things to do in Maui!
The road to Hāna is an all-day adventure—waterfalls, black sand, and eats along the way. Don’t miss Pīpīwai, Bruddah Hutts, Waiʻanapanapa, and Venus Pools. Come prepared with water, snacks, good shoes, a change of clothes, and offline maps/music (there is no internet service). Use turnouts and let locals (in tacomas) pass!
A beautiful hike down through IAO valley!
Staying on the south side near Maʻalaea Harbor? Check out Pride of Maui, Calypso Maui, Aliʻi Nui, or Sail Trilogy for snorkel trips to Molokini and Turtle Town. Most boats include gear, flotation, and food/drinks. Make suer you wear reef-safe sunscreen and bring a rash guard!
For those of you who don't get sea sick, this is a can't miss opportunity!
