Question

When is the ceremony? Can I come?

Answer

We'll be getting married Saturday morning in an intimate private ceremony where we got engaged. We are unable to accommodate additional folks at the ceremony. We're so excited to meet up with all of you later in the day to celebrate!

Is this a reception or a party?

Answer

A bit of both! But we'd say more party than formal reception.

Question

What about a room block?

Answer

We were unable to find a hotel downtown for a whole room block, but many hotels downtown do have single rooms available still! There's info on the Travel page about where we did find a room block.

How's the parking situation at Thistle Finch?

Answer

Park in the large lot on the left side of the street. (Please do not park in the small lot on the right side of the street.) Please avoid parking in any spots marked reserved and be aware that you may need to find street parking if visiting on a Friday night or Saturday afternoon. We highly recommend utilizing Uber/Lyft/etc. You're welcome to park near our house on Pearl Street and Uber/Lyft from there.

What's the dress code?

Answer

We're not overly formal, and want everyone to be comfortable and where what they love! We're encouraging festive attire (think fun colors & patterns, in a cocktail range). You'll find our reception to be pretty casual -- think neighborhood bar hangs.

Food & Drinks?

Answer

We'll be having a buffet-style meal, made in-house at Thistle Finch! We'll have vegan, vegetarian & meat options available. When we send out invites, we'll have the option to include dietary restrictions/needs on the RSVP card!

How is it all going to go?

Answer

We won't have a seating chart, a formal seated meal or a schedule of events. Arrive when works for you, and hang out as long as you'd like with us! We'll have cornhole outside (as long as the weather cooperates), tours of the distillery, dancing & music, buffet-style food and board games. You can see the distillery online on their website or Instagram.

Will the reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

A bit of both! It may be a bit warm, so we recommend dressing in layers.

We're at capacity with our venue so we're unable to accommodate folks under 18.

Can I bring my partner?

Answer

We're at capacity with our venue which means we're unable to accommodate additional guests. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invite. If you have questions, please reach out.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, through 9pm! Cash bar after 9.

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do! We've lived together for a while now and so we've put together a gift registry of things we need to complete our home and with our honeymoon cruise line. You can find our wish list in the registry tab above.

Where should we bring or send our wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 108 Pearl Street, Lancaster, PA 17603, or bring it along the day of! A wedding card box will be at our reception, as well.
