Town favorites from the couple: the large herds of elk that roam Estes, the one and only Stanley Hotel that inspired The Shining, the small burger shop on Elkhorn Ave, Penelope's, home to the couple's first date.
Garden of the Gods
Garden of the Gods is a scenic park in Colorado Springs known for its towering red sandstone rock formations and panoramic views of Pikes Peak. The park offers hiking, rock climbing, and stunning photo opportunities. The couple visited one time, however, no rocks were climbed in the process.
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre
A stadium built into a natural rock formation that offers many different versions of fun!! Catch a concert, movie night, or even yoga while you visit for the weekend!

A beautiful mountainside zoo where you can feed giraffes, ride the Mountaineer Sky Ride, and see animals up close with amazing views of Colorado Springs. It’s a bit of a drive but makes for a fun and memorable day trip.
Downtown Castle Rock
A charming small-town downtown with cute boutiques, coffee shops, and local bars and restaurants. Perfect for a relaxed stroll, a coffee break, grabbing a drink, or picking up a unique souvenir while exploring the area.

Amazing Italian food in a renovated old stone church. Definitely worth a dinner night out during your stay for the weekend!
