Stillwater Lift Bridge, Historic Site
Connecting Minnesota to Wisconsin, the historic lift bridge is a must see in Stillwater! A hiking loop (4.7 miles) can take you from the downtown lift bridge through Wisconsin, across the newly constructed bridge and back again to the downtown area.

If you're new to Stillwater, a trolley tour will give you a great sense of this small town. Come and experience the charm and beauty of Stillwater located on the banks of the scenic St. Croix River. Stillwater is best know as the “Birthplace of Minnesota.” The 45 minute narrated tour will take you on a journey as Stillwater evolved from a booming lumber town full of beautiful old Victorian Mansions to “One of the prettiest little towns in America”.
