You are my sun, my moon, and all my stars

Dear friends and family, Ben and Ashley officially wed during the summer in 2020, and you can see the simple living room ceremony at the link here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM_WaynhrqA! We will renew our vows and have a big celebration with everyone on Saturday, July 9, 2022. As such, the upcoming ceremony on July 9th will be our opportunity to share with all of you our exchange of written vows, as well as the official exchange of rings! All other aspects of the original celebration, including food, drink, and entertainment will be executed as per the original plan. We are so excited to be able to share our vow renewal with all our beloved friends and family. We both met at Crowdstar in 2012: Ben was a software engineer, and Ashley was an artist on a mobile video game called It Girl. We have always been long-time friends, but even we didn't realize we were meant to be together until 4 years of knowing each other! Ashley had an inkling that Ben might be interested when she noticed him perk up his ears after overhearing her passionate defense of Star Trek with a co-worker (In the age-old debate between Star Wars and Star Trek, Ashley defended Star Trek... even though her true answer is neither- Battlestar Galactica ;) There were many group outings together during the summer of 2016, from the Santa Cruz boardwalk all the way to Los Angeles for Disneyland. After sharing a magical elephant ride together in Disneyland with Ashley, Ben realized that he felt something for Ashley, and became determined to ask her out. He was worried about disrupting the friend group, but felt strongly that this was a relationship worth pursuing. Thus began a series of invitations from Ben where he would find good reasons to see Ashley one-on-one, until finally he asked her out on December 2016. After many adventures since, Ben popped the question on June 26, 2019, in a karaoke room where they shared their first official "date." We are now so excited to invite you to join us in celebrating our union as husband and wife! We will be marrying at the Mosher family farm in Gorham, Maine.
