What began as a simple friendship - Waffle House after Friday night football games and early morning study sessions in the Writing Center, quickly grew into something much more. Whether it be walking from class to class, a homecoming dance, or an after school club meeting, you'd always find these two together. Throughout college, life took them in different directions, but their story was far from over. Despite out-of-state moves, the challenges of a long distance relationship, and all of the new adventures in-between, their bond never truly faded. Even states apart, they always found ways to stay connected - virtual movie night dates, surprise visits, and counting down the days until they'd see each other again. Their love was tested, strengthened, and proven over these years. Eventually, the timing aligned just right and they found their way back to each other yet again - this time for good. The two began to truly build a life of their own together, even adding their sweet (and spoiled) dog, Wes, into the mix. Together, they've build a life of balance, adventure, and joy. They push each other to grow, to laugh, and to appreciate the small things. Traveling together has become one of their most favorite ways to explore the world, and themselves. After nearly a decade of memories - the highs, the challenges, and everything in between - one thing has always remained constant: they're best friends who know that life isn't nearly as sweet without one another. Now, as they prepare to say "I do", Ben and Ashleigh are so excited to celebrate the next chapter of their story surrounded by the people who have been part of it all along!
