In 2017 I used to go on walks. Lots of walks. I lived in a cute little farm house up on Hooker rd with Ryan & Amanda (brother & SIL). On my daily walks I would occasionally see this old rusty ‘72 Ford Ranger cruise around with a VERY attractive curly haired man driving. The first couple of times I didn’t think anything of it. After about the 5th time, I began to become very curious about this mysterious man. It turns out he lived at one of the houses I would pass on my walks. One sunny but chilly Sunday in January I was out taking my daily walk when I noticed this man walking down his long driveway to take out his trash. We struck up conversation, and he ends up asking me out for a beer and pool for the following Thursday. Our date was scheduled for 6:30 pm. I get there a bit early due to nerves. 6:29 rolls around and I get a text from this man saying “Sorry, I am not able to make it tonight.” I was so sad. I continued to sip on my beer. Right at 6:30 pm I looked over at the front door and in walks this curly haired man with the dumbest little smirk on his face. That is when I knew that we were going to get along just fine! What was planned to be only an hour or two long date, turned into 5 hours. Jokes were had all night. Almost 8 years later this “mystery man” is still my favorite person. Life is never dull with him.
