What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later an 1:30pm for the ceremony start at 2:00pm. Atlanta traffic can be unpredictable, so please give yourself ample time!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal/cocktail attire - think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat. Please keep the sacred nature of the Cathedral in mind when selecting an outfit.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that parents can relax and enjoy the evening.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

While guests are encouraged to use rideshare if possible, both the ceremony and the reception have ample parking. The Cathedral of Christ the King parking deck is located at 2655 Peachtree Rd, directly across from the entrance of the church. Valet will be provided at The Carlyle. Guest are not permitted to leave their cars overnight at either the church or the reception venue.

Where should I stay?

Answer

On the travel tab there is a link to a room block at the Grand Hyatt in Buckhead. If out of town guests prefer to book their own accommodations, we recommend looking for options in Buckhead with easy access to either Piedmont Road or Peachtree Street.
