Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We want to celebrate with our whole church community, which includes your beloved children. We want your kids at our wedding worship service, as well as our Pillar lawn refreshments immediately following the service. We'll have bubbles, chalk, lawn games, etc.!

When should I arrive for the wedding?

Answer

We are inviting our entire church community from Pillar to our wedding because we believe that our wedding involves promises we make in, with, and through God's community of people that's surrounding us. We expect it to be pretty full! It'd be a good idea to arrive by 2:45 to find your seats.

Where do we park at Pillar?

Answer

In addition to Pillar's parking lot, there is free street parking around downtown Holland and Hope College. Parking on College Avenue to the South or 10th street to the East and West are both good options.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

To help you out, we'd say "garden party" or "semi-formal."

Answer

Our registry is here on this website, a couple tabs over, if you desire to give a gift. We aren't expecting or anticipating gifts from everyone, so please do not feel pressure! Your presence, friendship, and love are gift enough to us.
