Ben and Amy began their friendship in graduate school. They walked to and from school each day, meeting at their spot on the corner of Mt. Auburn St. and Massachusetts Ave in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Before long, their conversations stretched longer and longer and it was clear that they would be more than study partners. Ben got up the courage to ask Amy to share some wine from their favorite local convenience store and watch the movie, "The Paper Chase," a "Harvard romantic classic." From there, the two were nearly inseparable, laughing in the library and surviving one frightfully snowy Boston winter together. When it was time to think about life after school, Amy and Ben decided to move to her hometown, Washington, DC. There, their relationship grew over long work days, Thai food, and weekend trips. Ben proposed on a Spring Break trip to Costa Rica, seizing the perfect moment at sunset on Playa Langosta. Amy and Ben live together in their new home in Capitol Hill, where they are both are school leaders, and they cannot wait to share their lives with one another.

This July 7th, we are delighted to welcome our friends and family to St. Michael's, Maryland, and we hope that you will be able to stay for the weekend or longer in this beautiful spot!
