Question

When I arrive at the park, what should I do?

Answer

Enter through the main entrance and drive up to the toll booth. Everyone's name is listed at the toll booth by last name. If you rsvp'ed, then they will have your name and you won't have to pay. PLEASE ARRIVE BY 12:15-12:30!! We need to make sure we have enough time to shuttle everyone in. From there, follow the sunflowers left and they will guide you to Sheldon Pines by the Golf Course. Please drop off your guests, then the driver needs to circle around and head back out to the main drive. Turn left and continue to follow the sunflowers to Lakeview Pavillion. There you can park and a driver will shuttle you in. This process will take a while so please arrive early, be patient, and use it as a time to fellowship.

Should I carpool?

Answer

if you can, yes. It'll make getting to the Pines and Pavillion quicker.

How do we get from the ceremony to the Pavillion for the reception?

Answer

To get to the Pavillion we will do the same thing in reverse. The drivers will be shuttled back to the pavillion where they will grab their cars, come pick up the rest of their party, and return to the Pavillion.

will there be something for guests to do during pictures?

Answer

You can use that time to socialize, and we will have dancing as well.

what is English country dancing???

Answer

Old style ballroom group dances. Think Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Game of Thrones, etc.

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes. Later in the afternoon we will put out a sandwich bar. For those that have allergies, we are doing our best to accommodate. There will be a separate table with allergy friendly foods for those who need it. Please do not get food from that table unless you have an allergy.

Are you taking any precautions for COVID?

Answer

Guests are welcome to do what they feel they need to to stay safe. We will have disposible gloves at the food table for guests to use when they go to the buffet.

Do you need help tearing down after the reception?

Answer

That would be lovely. If some are willing to stay after to help clean up, it would be amazing.
