The Lookout Bar and Eatery would be happy to accommodate us at 8pm. We will join whoever is there after our rehearsal dinner!
The dress code for our wedding is seasonal cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses with Spring/Summer colors or a suit and tie or a sports coat.
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be taking place right by the water at the "Promise Point" which is located in Lake Lawn Resort. Following the ceremony, the cocktail hour is a quick walk to the "Lakeview Terrace". After that, our reception is taking place in the "Lake Lawn Room" directly next door. Please plan accordingly!
Our ceremony starts at 5:00pm so please plan to arrive by 4:50pm at the latest so you can find your seat. Feel free to grab a drink at 1878 on the Lake before hand; this overlooks our ceremony site.
If you are interested in early check in, call the front desk to let them know you are interested ahead of time so they have it on their radar. They will let you know day of if your room is available if you call Friday morning. This is unfortunately not guaranteed. Regular check in starts at 4pm.
If you RSVP'd yes to joining us on the lake, sandwiches will be provided at the Community Park where we will be set up for games and fun. Some drinks will be provided but please plan to BYOB. This is completely optional so if you would rather stay at the resort, we will be back to join you around 3pm!
Yes we do! Please use the link under the "Travel" page on our website if you are booking only Friday night. If you plan to stay for either Thursday and/or Saturday, please call the front desk at 800-338-5253 to book a room for the "Sheetz/Gibson Wedding" to get our discount for those days. Even if there are no rooms left in our block, you can still get the block rate if you call in asking for our wedding when booking a room.
We're hoping for a night of drinks and dancing, so we've decided on an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!
