Prospect Park
You've probably seen Frederick Law Olmstead's Central Park, but have you visited his other NYC park in Park Slope, BK? Would recommend a visit for a run or bike ride! Be sure to see the beautiful boathouse!
The Brooklyn Barge
Located on the water on an actual barge, this bar boasts awesome views of Manhattan at sunset. Plus they are dog friendly (Bailey made an appearance!).
Van Leewen Ice Cream Shop
Artisanal Brooklyn ice cream shop that is all the rage right now. We recommend Earl Grey Tea or Honeycomb!
Glasserie
Very cool, low key restaurant that's a little hard to find and in a factory in north Greenpoint. Does it get any more Brooklyn than that? Worth the walk.
Lilia Ristorante
As a repurposed auto-body shop, Lilia is a clean, streamlined space that serves hand crafted pastas and wood fired seafood.
Devoción Coffee Shop
Awesome Columbian Coffee shop close to the water. Ben and Victoria have taken many friends here visiting the city to show off Brooklyn coffee culture. Victoria's bridesmaid, Haley, even took her to the coffee shop's Columbian counterpart in Bogotá.
Peter Luger Steak House
That steak house where the servers cut the steak with spoons because it is so tender.

Greenpoint is a historically Polish neighborhood-- enjoy some pierogis and traditional Polish fare at this Polish farmhouse restaurant. While I've heard there is typically a wait, it is worth it!
