To our dear friends and family, thank you for celebrating alongside us in the sweetest season of our relationship. We love you all so much and can't wait to celebrate in September with you!

Our Story began when Ben took a risk asking the cute girl to Homecoming Senior Year. Though they had been classmates for several years, this was their first date, and they both knew pretty quickly that this was something special. The rest of the school year was full of Jamba Juice runs before class, basketball games, prom and graduation, and lots of beach dates before leaving for college. Speaking of college…..before Senior Year began, Ben had already committed to attend the University of Kansas; meanwhile, Allison chose Point Loma in San Diego on the absolute final College Decision Day. (It’s possible that the timing of their decisions might be a little indicative of their personalities, haha!) They bid a temporary farewell in a bagel shop before heading off to their respective schools. (That bagel shop had never seen so many tears shed!) The next five years were full of late-night calls, impromptu Facetimes, and whirlwind weekend trips. The distance was a challenge but it served as a blessing too; they each had the opportunity to grow and mature and be present in their college communities while still growing in their own relationship. To make things fun, they loved to surprise each other from time to time, such as when Allison appeared at Ben’s 21st birthday party in Kansas and when Ben was sitting at a table at Allison’s favorite coffee shop when she walked in. Fast forward to Summer 2024, Ben moved back to California and the two resumed dating in the same state in person! They now love working out at Crunch together, hanging out with friends, and surfing. They are older now but still feel like the same high school kids from 2018. On January 4th, 2025, a voice crack and stolen camera tipped off Allison that something might be up, but she was still happily surprised when Ben got down on one knee to propose at the cliffs of San Onofre. We thank God for the beautiful way He weaved Our Story together. We are very excited to be starting this new chapter of our lives, and we are so happy to be celebrating with all of you!
