Ben and Phoebe came to Austin for very different reasons. Ben, to study at UT where he eventually graduated with a degree in Micro-Biology. Phoebe came to Texas to study whole animal butchery. Both journeys eventually led to BBQ where they met. At first, the plan was to "just be friends" and work together as business partners. That didn't last long! Now, Ben and Phoebe spend their days running their beloved bakery/restaurant Casper Fermentables ("best bagel in Austin"), taking their fur babies Barney and Billy to the park, filling their bellies with kombucha and fermented veggies, and hosting parties for their loved ones. We absolutely cannot wait to celebrate with everyone!
