We're Getting Married

As many of you know, Meaghan HATES surprises. So it should be no surprise to anyone, that Meaghan knew the proposal was coming. The only thing she didn't know, was where, when, or how. She had meticulously picked out the perfect ring for Ben, including links and sizing, being everything other than subtle. Now came the problem for Ben: Propose to Meaghan without her realizing it was happening. With the help of her best friend Amanda, they managed to pick the perfect place and time. To keep her off his trail, Ben created a false "plan" and made Meaghan think that he would be proposing on Thursday. "Hey don't make plans for Thursday, but I cannot tell you what we are doing." Her friends acted like this was the most insane thing Ben had ever done, and could not believe he would be so obvious. Meanwhile, they simultaneously created a fake occasion to hang out and celebrate the school year closing at McGill Rose Garden. Ben even took it as far to pretended he did not want to go out drinking on a "school night" to keep her off his trail, and when they arrived at the location, Ben acted like he had never been there before. Ben went into the garden before Meaghan, saying he was going to find a place to sit down. When Meaghan walked out, hands full with wine, water, and everything else she was carrying, she was blown away and completely surprised. It was absolutely perfect, and the best way to begin their adventure as Husband and Wife.
