Philadelphia Museum of Art
A wonderful museum with something for everyone! (We recommend the Modern Art wing which has some great work by Manet, Rousseau, Vulliard, Van Gogh, and Twombly, among others)
Barnes Foundation
A beautiful museum with Modern European paintings, with artists including Matisse, Modigliani, Cezanne, and Picasso.
Los Gallos restaurant
The best Mexican food in the city! You can get standard fare here, but they also have cactus and corn smut tacos. It's a little out of the way, but totally worth it!

The Couch Tomato Café & Bistro, Manayunk
We love the huge salads at this place in Manayunk, close to our neighborhood.
Tattooed Mom
This is where we met, over a game of pool! A great, grungy dive bar.
The Ranstead Room
A great "Speakeasy" style bar with a great atmosphere and even better cocktails. Half the fun is trying to find the nondescript entrance on a small side street. If you want food, the restaurant next door, El Rey, will bring over some snacks - just order them at the bar.
Young American Hard Cider & Tasting Room
A nice cider-focused bar a block away from our house and about a 5 min drive from the wedding venue. They also have some good snacks, and a cute outdoor seating area.

One of our favorite book stores!
Rittenhouse Square
A beautiful park in the middle of the city. Find it on Walnut St. between 18th and 19th st.
Wissahickon Valley Park
A park that spans a large wooded area near our house. There are some really great trails that run next to a river. We suggest starting at the trail entrance on Mount Airy Ave.
