FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 1, 2026 so we can make final arrangements!

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Attire is "wedding garden party." Long Island in August can get hot and humid, so please dress accordingly! Think linens/khakis, sundresses, sandals. Ties and jackets are not necessary, but if that's your kind of thing, go for it. Bold colors and prints are always welcome! Ceremony and reception will be on soft grass, so please wear appropriate footwear. The description above is intended to be helpful, so please don't stress about the attire! While we do ask for no jeans or t-shirts, we're just excited to have you celebrate with us and want you to be comfortable and enjoy the day!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying at the Glen Cove Mansion, where we have a block of rooms reserved. This hotel is only a five-minute drive from the wedding venue and where the shuttle will operate between. The next closest hotel is the Hilton in Roslyn. The shuttle will not operate between the venue and this hotel, but Ubers and taxis are available in the area.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! If you're staying at the Glen Cove Mansion, shuttles will begin at 3PM and will be available until 11:30PM.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available on the Webb Institute campus inside the front gates. However, we encourage guests staying at the Glen Cove Mansion to utilize the shuttle service or enjoy a walk through the woods. :)

Question

I have a food allergy - can I make a special request?

Answer

Food will be served buffet-style. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options will be available for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert. Please reach out if you have a food allergy not covered by this list.

Question

Can I take photos?

Answer

We ask that you do not use your phone during the ceremony, including the processional/recessional. We'll have an amazing photographer to capture the day and would prefer to see your glowing faces! We promise to get everyone access to photos after the wedding. We appreciate your understanding! We'll also have cameras available at the reception!

Question

Is anyone changing their name?

Answer

Nope! We'll still be Ben Hunt and Juliette Lehman after the wedding.
