Wedding Party

Caryn Yoder

Maid of Honor

Carley and I have been best friends since high school, and our friendship has only grown stronger over the years. One of my favorite memories with her was traveling to Alaska—soaking in the beauty of the mountains and sea while volunteering at a camp to serve Jesus. It was a week full of singing, laughter, and deep talks. Another favorite memory of mine was when we were both injured in high school and spent so much time together just being there for one another. Ours is a friendship built on a deep love for Jesus and one that I know will last a lifetime.

Sam Snook

Best Man

Been with this guy since not quite day 1 but since our ages were still described with “months.” Hasn’t been a moment since I’ve not known this guy. Favorite fun fact about Ben is he used to collect Doritos.

Anna Humphreys

Bridesmaid

I’ve known Carley since elementary school. We’ve grown up playing sports together, going to church camp, and had countless sleepovers! Carley has always been such a steadfast and faithful friend in my life. She is the kind of person who will always show up and be there for you. I have countless memories with Carley but some of my favorites are when we talk for hours on end without a second of silence and I always feel encouraged afterwards! She is such a sweet friend and I can’t wait to celebrate her!

Well he’s (Ben) going to be my brother in law, so if I don’t love him I have to deal with him. But luckily I do, despite his lack of high school football knowledge. My favorite memory with Ben is probably playing any game with Connor in our basement with Ben as the referee, these games would often end in an ejection for some silly act like hitting the ‘take the L’ Fortnite emote. Through these activities, Ben and I grew closer and I was lucky enough to have Ben act as the older brother I never had. Ben counseled, mentored, and helped me to mature into the young man I am today. I am eternally grateful for that. I have many memories [with Carley] to choose from, like being threatened with a knife, getting pinned to the ground and spat on, watching Good Mythical Morning after school every day, or sneaking the food back in the cabinets before Mom came in the house, so, picking a favorite is difficult, so I’ll instead talk about the role you play in my life. You’ve helped show me what it means to follow Christ, no matter the circumstance. Having a front row seat to watch you become the young woman you are today is one of the greatest blessings I’ve ever been given. You’ve always been someone I can talk to when things get tough, ask questions, and count on to understand me. I love you.

I have known Carley since high school though we really became friends when we were roommates our freshman year of college. There are so many good memories of us living together and so many times we ended up laughing so hard we ended up on the floor. Some of my favorite memories with Carley are the time when we caught 7 mice in our dorm, staying up to have a 1989 TV listening party, and having Carley and Ben wait up for a debrief after every first date I went on. I am now the proud adopted child/third wheel of Carley and Ben and enjoy spending my time trying to convince them to take me to Braum’s every night.

Groomsman

I am Carley's brother, so growing up, Ben was always around, and I was the annoying little brother who always wanted to hang out with Ben, and only Ben. One of my favorite memories with Ben is when we were playing mini basketball and I dunked on him, broke the backboard, and called the game. While playing basketball and other activities, I have had the opportunity to get to know Ben and strengthen our relationship. Carley, I love you for many reasons. 1. You are my protection from Drew when we team up on him when he is a wee bit cranky. 2. You are someone who will do something with me when I am bored. 3. You are a fantastic sibling, you are my favorite sister, and no one could ever replace you (other than Ben). You also help with my music, and without you, I wouldn't know half of the songs I know. When I think of you, I think of the sister who always has my back and always has love to give to everyone. LOVE YOU LOTS!

Bridesmaid

I met Carley at Bethel during our freshman year in a class we had together. We started hanging out after class and became good friends. Throughout our first year of friendship, we had many talks about Jesus, and she started taking me to church on Sundays. She truly helped me find my faith, and continues to be one of the most supportive and loving people I know. I can always count on Carley to make me laugh or have the deepest conversations with. Some of my favorite memories include taking a road trip to Washington state together, karaoke nights, and staying up to have late-night talks in our mod. She is a light to others around her, and I am so thankful that she is one of my best friends.

Groomsman

Ben and I met my senior year and his freshmen year of college at Bethel. No shocker about we connected on sharing vulnerable stories from our past. The rest was history after that. We’ve been locked in since the spring of 2022!

Bridesmaid

Carley is my cousin on my mom’s side of the family. I’ve always looked up to her not only as a role model, but also as an older sister. I love to look back on memories we have together in Minnesota like riding jet skis and paddle boarding on the lake!

Cole Deutschendorf

Groomsman

Ben and I probably met in 6th grade but became friends in 7th grade when we sat at the same table in science class and the rest was history. Some of my favorite memories include playing doubles for exactly one tennis meet (we couldn’t be serious enough to stay as partners), baking muffins for friends and family during COVID and having him by my side as I got married.

Bridesmaid

I met Carley at Bethel about two years ago when she was managing the basketball team. From the start, I admired the way she carried herself- with grace, confidence, and a deep love for Jesus that radiated in everything she did. The following year, we became roommates in a mod of seven girls, and that’s when our friendship began to grow. Living together gave us the space to have late-night talks, laugh at the little things, and support each other in ways that felt effortless but meant so much. In a short amount of time, Carley became a true rock in my life, someone I could turn to during hard seasons, someone who always pointed me back to truth and hope. She is one of the very few people in my life who not only allows me to ask hard questions and process out loud, but also invites me into her own thoughts with that same honesty and trust. That kind of mutual openness is rare, and I treasure it deeply. Through our conversations and the way she’s walked out her own calling, Carley is actually the one who inspired me to pursue a career in therapy. I saw the impact one person can have simply by being present, listening well, and living out their faith, and I knew I wanted to do the same. I couldn’t have asked for a more thoughtful, grounded, and faith-filled friend. Standing beside her on such a meaningful day is one of the greatest honors. I’m beyond grateful for the friendship we’ve built and so excited to celebrate this next chapter of her life.

I met Ben sophomore year at Bethel College initially at football practice/workouts/meetings. Then, later I remember Matt first bringing him around our group but I don’t remember a specific moment because Ben has always felt like somebody I’ve always known. It was at the point that we became brothers and the rest is history! I’ve known Ben for about four years and our relationship is one rooted in Christ. Ben played a very important role in my growth as a Christian and a man. My favorite memory of Ben is hard to pick just one but rather a compilation of all the late night talks we shared amongst our group and us personally one-on-one! Talking about faith, our relationships with Carley and Sarah, good times and bad times, and every single thing in between! I’ll never forget the day when Ben came to me and the boys and said “I want this friendship, this group to be bigger than having fun and hanging out. I want it to be one that’s rooted in Christ where we are all trying to push each other to be Godly men and grow closer to our Lord.” and that’s just who Ben is!!

Ben and I met at Bethel! It took a while for us to build a relationship. Thankfully, we were able to build one, and he's played a huge role in my faith and love for the Lord. Not sure where my faith would be without him!
