What is Black-Tie Optional?

Answer

In short, you wear floor length gowns and suits! However, please feel free to wear what you are comfortable in. It's a ball so we will be excited to see everyone dressed to the max! If you insist on wearing heels, please be aware that the ceremony will be in a grassy area with no solid walking paths to the site. It's a campground with dirt paths. Stilettos are highly discouraged, but feel free to make the risk!

Why only cash on your registry?

Answer

As we've been together nearly 11 years (Living together for 6) by the time our wedding takes place, we already have everything we would traditionally put on a wedding registry. So instead we ask for contributions to go towards paying for our wonderful day of celebrating with our loved ones!

Where will the extra money go from the registry?

Answer

If there are any funds left over after the wedding we will be using it to do 2 things: 1. Half of the left over funds will be put towards our honeymoon! 2. Half will be equally split for donations for Byron Forest Preserve and Scouts of America as a thank you for them in helping us have the wedding of our dreams!
