Why Morris, CT?

Answer

Becca's grandparents bought their house on Bantam Lake in 1957 and the next two generations of Solnits grew up visiting the big green house on the lake in Morris, CT. In 2010, Becca's parents moved into the family home full-time. Becca and Ben can't wait to get married where there are so many family memories.

Where is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be held rain or shine on the lawn of the Solnit house (364 Bantam Lake Road). Please plan your footwear accordingly as the lawn may be uneven. Parking is across the street at i2Systems (355 Bantam Lake Road). Reach out to Becca or Ben if you have any accessibility needs.

What is South Farms?

Answer

South Farms is where our wedding reception will take place immediately following the ceremony, a quick 7-minute drive from the Solnits. The family-run farm is part event space, part working farm growing hops, hay and grass-fed beef. Learn more about South Farms at www.southfarms.org.
