Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire preferred. 🩷 Inspiration 🧡 Dresses of any length, chic jumpsuits, or tailored sets. Keep the stilettos at home, as the ceremony will take place on grass. Light suits or dress pants with blazers are lovely, but if it’s a bit too warm, feel free to lose the jacket–we’d rather you be comfortable than overheat. Bright colors or florals are welcome, but not required (a Pinterest board with examples can be found here: https://bit.ly/3H5SuC5) Our dogs will be wearing suits 🐩

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour are scheduled to be outdoors, with the reception held indoors.

How long will the ceremony last?

Answer

Our ceremony will combine both Roman Catholic and Jewish traditions. While we will not have a full Catholic mass, the ceremony may last up to 45 minutes in order to honor both families' traditions.

Is there transportation to/from the hotel to the venue?

Answer

Limited shuttle service will be provided to/from the Wyndham Southbury via the Wyndham Shuttle Service. Note that the shuttle seats 11, so we recommend arriving early. From Wyndham to Venue: 4:45 PM & 5:00 PM From Venue to the Wyndham: 10:45 PM & 11:00 PM During the afterparty, we will have a 7-passenger van making continuous loops between Brewbury and the Wyndham. If you plan to travel outside of those times or will not be traveling to/from the Wyndham, we strongly recommend pre-booking an Uber or Lyft.

Is there a block of hotel rooms reserved for guests?

Answer

We recommend the Wyndham Southbury for our out-of-town guests, as it's just an 8 minute ride from our venue! Please note that our hotel block has now closed, but rooms at the hotel are still available!

Yes, parking is available on site.

Can I bring my kids or a plus-one?

Answer

Due to space restrictions, this will be an adults-only event (except for our two very furry good boys). Invited partners and guests will be included on the invitation.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We kindly ask that you take lots of photos any other time :)
