What is the weather going to be like?
Answer
The average weather for July in Winter Park, Colorado is around 70 degrees. Weather in the mountains is quite dynamic. It may be in the 50s or it may be in the 80s. The Colorado sunshine here is hot, so bring sunscreen. The nights and chilly, so bring a jacket. Afternoon storms sometimes occur so if you do not like getting wet, pack a raincoat.

How do I get there?
Answer
Denver International Airport is the closest airport. Winter Park is approximately an hour and half West (towards the mountains). You can rent a car or take a shuttle. We encourage carpooling as we both care about the environment. More information can be found on the "Travel" tab at the top of this page.

How do I RSVP?
Answer
If you visit the "RSVP" tab on the top of this page, you will be able to enter your name. If you have received an invitation, your information will pop up. From there you should be able to RSVP for yourself, your partner, your family, and/or your plus one. You will also be asked to select a food preference and provide a song request, choose wisely!

What should I wear?
Answer
We recommend cocktail or garden attire. But feel free to dress up as much as you want! There will be an opportunity to be both indoors and outdoors during the event. Please note that Colorado mountains tend to get chilly when the sun goes down, so bring a jacket for the evening. Ultimately-- just look great and be comfortable!

How will the altitude of Colorado affect me?
Answer
The altitude at our venue is approximately 8,350 feet. We suggest you drink plenty of water in the few days before the wedding and continue to stay hydrated throughout. If you are concerned about Altitude Sickness, consider staying in Denver (at a lower altitude of 5,280 feet) the day before the wedding. Also, this is a party, but be mindful of your alcohol intake. Those coming from lower altitudes usually feel the effects of alcohol more heavily and quicker. :)

What will dinner be like?
Answer
Dinner will not be plated and you will not be "stuck" with the main entree you choose. We are just trying to get a feel for what people want. The wedding will be catered by Under the Sun Eatery. There is onsite parking at the Headwaters Center where both the ceremony and reception will be held.

Yes, there will be an option to enter this request when you RSVP.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes. We will be renting a shuttle service that will provide trips to and from hotels as necessary.

If you see "Guest Name Unknown" below your name when you RSVP, you can bring a date and should write in their name.
