Abby and Chase first met on May 25th of 2022, just five days before they both graduated from high school. Chase was graduating from Linn-Mar, and Abby from Marion. Despite being in the same town for years, their high school paths had never crossed, and they knew only a few people in common. It’s neat how life works, sometimes the most unexpected moments lead to the best connections. From the very first day they met, Abby and Chase formed an immediate bond. Although they seemed different in many ways, it was those differences that made them a perfect match. They became best friends right away, and since that day, they’ve been inseparable, navigating life and young adulthood through support, endless memories and faith. The most memorable parts of their relationship have been the immediate bond and friendship they formed, the many miles put into various different vehicles from all of the travelling, the Sunday mornings they spend together going to church then promptly getting breakfast at Morning Story in Marion and the many hikes at Backbone and Palisades that are always spent with their beloved puppy Ryder. But what they treasure most are the quiet moments spent simply enjoying one another’s presence. Although they’ve already lived a positively eventful life together, Abby and Chase know that this is only the beginning of their story. They’re excited to see what the future holds, and they can’t wait to share this next chapter—marriage—with all of you.
