It all started with a swipe. On an uneventful spring night in 2021, the stars aligned, and Kevin and Jackie matched on Hinge! However, this first connection would prove to be unfruitful. Kevin and Jackie proceeded to play a game of telephone via Hinge as neither one of them frequently used the app. Fortunately for Kevin, Jackie decided she had found something she wanted and proceeded to hunt Kevin down via Instagram. After finding Kevin’s profile on Instagram Jackie sent him a message, insisting she was tired of waiting for me to respond on Hinge. Kevin was IMMEDIATELY apprehensive about this, assuming this beautiful girl messaging him was a catfish. Luckily for both Kevin and Jackie, they had a mutual friend on Instagram and Kevin’s apprehension was eased. Kevin responded to Jackie’s message and the two immediately clicked together. After messaging back and forth through DM’s on Instagram, Kevin asked Jackie for her number and they continued the conversation with their first FaceTime. After confirming that Jackie was indeed, NOT A CATFISH, Kevin knew he had found someone special. Jackie agreed to meet him on July 10th, 2021 at a restaurant on Ventura Boulevard and the rest is history. Soon Jackie and Kevin were inseparable, spending as much time with each other as they could. Their bond grew stronger by the day and by August of 2021, while attending Kevin’s friend’s wedding, Kevin asked Jackie to be his girlfriend. From trips to Nashville to Cancun, the Sequoia’s to Miami the two were falling deeper in love. In April of 2022, Kevin and Jackie decided they no longer wanted to only spend weekends with each other and started renting a place in Sherman Oaks. The apartment was small, had no central a/c (in the Valley!), and came with no dishwasher but they were together and that is all that mattered. Summer of 2023 came and Kevin took Jackie to the location of their second date, Paradise Cove. After a walk along the beach to their favorite spot Kevin asked Jackie to marry him. In our time together, we are blessed to have become close with each other’s friends and family. Together, we've discovered that the best adventures are the ones we create with each other with all the people we choose to spend our lives with. Please join us this August as we say "I do" and start the next chapter of our lives with each other. We're beyond excited to share this day with those who've been a part of our journey!
