Josh and I met in 2018 on Hinge (thank god for dating apps). We scheduled to meet up for a coffee, however, when the day came, I did not feel like showering and getting ready. If you dont know me well, you may not be aware of my disdain for washing my hair and getting myself gussied up. My mom spoke Kelli logic and convinced me to get ready, and thankfully I did. I could not believe how amazing Josh was, but was nervous we would lose touch while I traveled for the holidays followed by a backpacking trip in Chile. The universe worked in our favor and we managed to bond despite the distance. Fast forward 3 years… We are crazy dog people, which is perfect because he used our dogs to ask me to marry him. In addition to our dogs, we have bonded over our ability to laugh at and with each other. Josh and I love listening to 2000s pop/hip-hop/rock/country haha those were the golden years of music (at lease for millennials). Every road trip turns into *terrible* karaoke. Before him, I’d never watched much football and now I manage my own Fantasy Football team. Alternatively, he never realized he was missing out on trashy Bravo TV shows in his life until he met me lol. We balance each other out in many ways and compliment each other to be our best selves.
