Q+A

Question

Can I bring my child(ren)?

Answer

No, not to the wedding Saturday. We love each of you and adore your babies (of all ages), but we have made the decision to host an adults-only evening. Children are invited to the Welcome to Town dinner the day before and to our Sunday Social. In addition to alcohol, we will have an assortment of recreational products available. We do not want to put anyone in a situation where they are uncomfortable having kids present. A designated area will be set up separate from the main gatherings, for those who wish to partake! Our venue is small and it forced us to make some tough decisions due to the number of guests we can accommodate. Unfortunately, we had to exclude several family members, friends, and co-workers because of space restrictions. We would love to have whole families present but, at this time, we are asking everyone to make plans for sitters and try to enjoy a date night or weekend getaway. If this deeply offends you or prevents you from being able to attend, please reach out to us. Let's work together and see if we can find a solution that you can be happy with. That said, we won’t be able to make exceptions for one person’s children, as it could unintentionally cause hard feelings amongst those who are adhering to our request. We truly hope you understand our reasons and know that this is not a decision we made easily. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Will there be alcohol? Can I bring my own?

Answer

Yes, we will serve alcohol but you are welcome to bring a favorite beverage. We will have bartenders at the reception but our drink selection may be limited. Happy Hour will start off with wine and sodas being served before dinner. Following a 'last call', the bar will shut down for roughly 30-45 minutes while dinner and cake are served. Upon reopening, wine and sodas will again be served with the additional option of suggested mixed drinks and a small variety of liquors. If there is a drink you prefer to bring, you are welcome to have our bartenders put your name on it and serve to only you. No matter what, please be prepared to drink responsibly. Cheers!! **NOTE - This is a private farm with a family that has made it clear no drunken outburst will be tolerated. If you are causing a disruption, you will be escorted out. Anyone drinking should plan on having a designated driver or asking for a ride!!**
