It was a Friday night in the summertime when Matthew slid into Meredith’s direct messages and said “How’s your Friday going?” Meredith responded with "that is the most genuine message I've received on here" We decided to exchange phone numbers and get to know one another through the weekend. Mind you, I had NO faith in online dating and thought this was going to end with me finding out, with my stealth detective skills and advanced hobby for in depth online research; he was no one I could possibly introduce to my parental unit!! I will say it when it's necessary - I WAS WRONG. After hundreds of texts back and forth, he called me. We talked for hours. We learned so much about each other. We decided to meet. Matt had to take a trip to Cape Coral to visit with friends. When he came back we went on our first date to Bru's Room. After just knowing one another for a short time, when talking one evening, Matt said "what if I told you I was moving to Cape Coral" I said "we are going to figure it out" For eight months, we agreed to share time driving 400 miles roundtrip across the state of Florida. We grew stronger than ever and made the decision to move Matt back and live together.
