We're getting Married!

We met on a weekend in April 2023 while visiting Kyle for his birthday (Kyle is my brother). Tyler and Kyle have been friends for two years, but it wasn’t until that weekend that we were introduced to each other. Initially, we did not think much of each other. To us, I was Kyle’s sister, and Tyler was his friend. That was that. But.. after a fun weekend with family and friends, the following Sunday I decided to send Tyler a “hey” message. Since that first message, we have not stopped talking. We went on our first date in May 2023 to a small coffee shop in midland. Even though we each only got one coffee, that date lasted 4 hours!! From that moment on, we both knew this would be something special. We made it “official” in June. Since Tyler lived in Toledo at the time and I lived in Lake Orion, we decided to do long distance for the first 4 months. In September ‘23, we both made the decision to move for different job opportunities. I ended up in Greenwood, Indiana, Tyler ended up in Cincinnati, Ohio. Two hours apart. For the next year we continued to do long distance. In September ‘24 we both moved to Dayton, OH and are no longer doing long distance, YAY. May ‘23, Tyler proposed and it was the easiest question I have ever had to answer. We cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together and to celebrate this new chapter with our family and friends.
