What is the Attire?

Answer

Friday:: "Gold Rush" theme Welcome Dinner at East Lake Saturday:: Semi-formal Wedding Ceremony on the East Lawn of the Mountain Lodge and reception in the tent on the West Lawn immediately following. Sunday:: Casual, as we say farewell, at brunch.

What type of shoes should I wear?

Answer

The service and reception will be primarily on grass, so please keep that in mind with shoe choice. We do have a wooden dance floor. Also, if you are hiking, we recommend hiking shoes as parts of the trails can be uneven. Sneakers can work too.

Is there a town near by?

Answer

Old Forge is about a 10-minute drive away and has all the essentials.

Do the rooms have hairdryers and make up mirrors?

Answer

Generally no, so if needed we recommend you bring your own

What are the optional activities?

Answer

A detailed schedule will be emailed to you and posted in Mountain Lodge all weekend. Activities on Friday and Saturday will include guided hikes, pickleball, tennis, fishing, water sports, skeet shooting, relaxing games, and puzzles in the Lodge. Pack a bathing suit. Please bring racquets and balls if you want to play.

What will the accommodations be like?

Answer

The ALC is a hunting and fishing club in a beautiful place. The accommodations will be a combination of lodge rooms, multi-bedroom cabins, and private houses. Keep in mind there is no room or daily maid service during your stay.
