Bridesmaid
Megan and Sarah met while Megan was on her first rotation at Mayo.... it was sorta like “wait a minute, who is this super cool strong tall woman from the Midwest?....oh, it’s Sarah Spelsberg!” They bonded over harmonizing songs while closing wounds on Megan’s Foot and Ankle rotation (both the harmonizing and the fact of singing is no lie). Sarah is also part of the #goodvibetribe..... meet her, you’ll understand.
Bridesmaid
Andrea and Megan met in 2010 during residency (general surgery and orthopaedic surgery, respectively)....the stories are countless (ask her about the fax machine), the mutual support is endless....she is a spectacular midwestern friend to Anthony & Megan. Andrea will soon be moving to LA to complete her 9th (yes 9th) year of post-medical school training to become a cosmetic plastic surgeon....this wedding will help her cultivate her “California vibe.”
Bridesmaid
Megan was introduced to Jayini during her second year of residency.... by all the other ortho residents (as she is quite stunning). Anthony and Megan always comment on how Jayini is the “goofiest incredibly smart girl” they’ve ever known! Like whoa! As the third member of “the Tripod”, Jayini’s friendship has been wonderful. She is currently an Assistant Professor in Oral Maxillofacial surgery at Loma Linda University...crushing it.
Bridesmaid
Both Anthony and Megan interviewed young “Bentley” when she wanted entrance into the world of Orthopaedics (she was still in medical school).... they immediately loved her confidence and spunk. Her sense of humor is amazing (ask her about that one needle poke) and she has facetiously been considered Anthony and Megan’s “third daughter” for some time now 😂. She recently signed her first contract, and by wedding time she will be just 2 weeks away from becoming an Orthopaedic Hand surgeon!
Flower Girl
If she can make it down the isle at 10.5months old...we will consider it a huge success! Either way, she'll have a mega cute dress to wear for at least 23 minutes!
Flower Girl
Adventure girl...at 4yo she sat front row on Space Mountain...at 6yo she was flying through the trees on zip-lines...at 7yo she was speed racing down the California ski slopes...and by July 14 she very well may be pulling her little sister down the aisle in a wagon ;-P
