Yes, there is a short gap in-between the ceremony and reception to allow guests to check into their hotel rooms, grab a quick bite to eat, or enjoy some drinks. We recommend going to The Republic on Grand on the 6th floor of the AC Hotel. There are a ton of cool restaurants and bars in the East Village area that are within walking distance to the reception as well!
Ceremony: At Hope+Elim, there are 85 parking spots in the church parking lot. There is also street parking. Please be careful not to park in tow away zones or private parking areas! Reception: There is limited street parking on East 5th in front of The Conservatory, but the East 6th Parking Garage will be available. We have room blocks at the AC Marriott and Holiday Inn Express & Suites. Both can be found under the 'Travel' tab.
This is up to you and how far you have to travel! Our ceremony is at 2pm on Saturday. If you don't stay Friday night, you will have a chance after the ceremony to go check in to your hotel room before happy hour begins.
Due to space constraints, we are only able to accommodate those formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding, and please reach out with any questions!
This will be an adults-only event (the only exception are the little ones in our bridal party/immediate family). We hope this notice is enough time for you to make other arrangements to take the day off and celebrate with us!
The dress code is cocktail attire, but feel free to wear gowns/tuxes if you desire! Please no jeans or white.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place indoors.
Absolutely! When you RSVP, there will be an option to list any dietary restrictions. Please reach out to the bride or groom with any other allergy related concerns/requests.
