David and I have really gone about things backwards but we couldn't be happier. We met while working with each other at the MN state lottery. We both are equal assholes which is how I think this all started. I don't think either one of us could actually tell you when we started dating but is was in 2014 I believe ( All I remember is Brayden was 4 when we started dating). We did things very nontraditional but for us it worked. We lived in his dads basement for probably a year and a half. Then we bought our house in Inver Grove Heights. After living at our house for a few years we found our I was pregnant. Again I know this is not traditional but this is our story. We have three amazing kids and a house we love and wouldn't change anything about our lives.

David has told me he wanted to get another tattoo. I was irritated because I thought we should use the money for other things. So he went to "get a quote" done and dropped Piper and I off at Target. When he picked us up I was rather irritated with him because I just thought it was stupid that he wanted to spend the money on this. So I sat there on the way home just quiet because I knew I was going to let him have it if I said anything at all. We got home and I still remained quiet. I was just putting around and he comes in with this fishing reel box. He had gone to Cabela's. Now I am super mad because he went to Cabela's with out me. I yell at him and tell him he better have bought me the cup I wanted since he went with out me. He gives me this reel box (it was for a Stradic CI-4 which is my favorite fishing reel) and the box is all funky so I open it to adjust the reel. In there was the ring. He said to me how would you feel about changing your last name... Of course I said yes but I was still fuming inside because he went to one of my favorite stores with out me. I don't think he will ever live it down but I give him credit for creativity. The tattoo thing was all a big show so I didn't question what he needed two grand for.
