Silver Falls State Park
Great color in the fall. The picture was taken on 10/22/16 so hopefully this year matches up with the foliage! It can be busy on the weekends but is a good weekday option. Multiple options for hiking loops or walks for various levels of ability.
Portland Japanese Garden
A great garden in the fall. Moss and maples both look good. Hoyt Arboretum and Oregon Zoo are right nearby
Three Capes Scenic Loop
If you are going to the coast and have not been to the Oregon Coast much, this is what we would recommend. Get beer at Pacific City and oysters at Netarts Bay. Cape Lookout is Josh's favorite beach for surf fishing. The picture is Alyssa fishing at Cape Lookout!

Best harvest festival in the area. Something for everyone in the family to do.
