It all started when the two caught each other's eye in their time attending Bethel School of Ministry in Redding, CA. For Belle, Misha was the one person she felt like she could joke around with at school, while every other ministry student took themselves a bit too seriously at times. Completely oblivious to the fact that Mish was definitely flirting every time he made her laugh. It took Belle until the day before Misha returned home to the Netherlands to realize how much she liked him. During a summer of agonizing to her friends over whether he liked her or not, Misha was home still thinking he could see himself marrying her. Misha returned to Redding for their last year of school which they spent passionately serving ministries that help women with crisis pregnancies as well as caught stuck in illegal human trafficking. 1 month into the school year on September 17th he made his move. 3 dates within 1 week and he asked Belle to be his girlfriend. It took them about 2 weeks of being an official couple to say “I love you” and within another 2 months Misha confessed that he was determined to never stop loving Belle. 7 months into dating and he popped the question to which was the easiest “yes” Belle has ever said. Through trials, adventures, hardships or world traveling the two have grown stronger and more in love every single day and have dedicated their lives to serve Christ and follow God’s call.
