Jake & Rachel

Neither of us remember when exactly we met for the first time, but it would’ve been around the 5th or 6th grade. It wasn’t til years later, from playing trumpet together that we became close friends. I remember joking around during marching band & football games, quickly realizing that all I wanted to do was keep making Jake laugh. 

In 2016, we went on our first date, and on September 24, he asked if I would be his girlfriend. We dated through the rest of high school & college, and on December 31, 2023, Jake proposed at the same spot of our second date, more than 7 years earlier, with a photobook of some of our best memories over the years. 

I have found so much love & friendship in my relationship with Jake, and can’t wait to enter this next chapter as husband & wife.
