Things To Do

We love Utah, and we are so lucky to live in such a beautiful place! We are so excited to share a few of our favorites with you. For further recommendations on where to eat, visit, or hike, feel free to reach out to us!

Fisher Brewing Company

320 West 800 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84101

We went on our first date here! It's our favorite brewery in SLC.

Slackwater Pizza

Ogden or Salt Lake City, UT

One of our favorite restaurants, offering primarily specialty pizzas. We'd recommend reservations or getting on their wait list before you head over there.

Red Butte Garden and Arboretum

300 Wakara Way, Salt Lake City, UT 84108

A beautiful place to see plants and spring blooms, overlooking Salt Lake City.

Red Iguana

736 West North Temple Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84116

Featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives, this Mexican restaurant has excellent food, best known for their mole dishes. We'd recommend reservations on a weekend.

Hill Aerospace Museum

7961 Cottonwood Street, Hill Air Force Base, UT 84056

This museum is located on the Hill Air Force Base, very close to the wedding venue. It has over 70 aircraft and thousands of aerospace artifacts. A really cool place to learn about US Air Force and aircraft history!

Ogden Historic 25th Street

25th Street, Ogden, UT 84401

Of course, Salt Lake City has a lot to offer, but Ogden is a very cool, small town with a stunning mountain backdrop, and it's just as close to the wedding! We recommend visiting historic 25th street for restaurants, bars, and a little shopping. Tona sushi is excellent and there are a couple of nice breweries in town as well.

Hiking

Everywhere, UT

We love the mountains and the outdoors, so Utah is naturally a great place for us! If you want to get a little exercise in and take in the beautiful sites of Utah, you don't have to go very far. We recommend downloading AllTrails to search for hikes around the area. It's a really good tool for searching hikes based off difficulty and sites, and it will show you recent comments about the trail conditions to make sure there's no snow (shouldn't be an issue in May, escpecially with our lack of snowfall this year)
