Kevin and I actually met briefly in December of 2017. Kevin and his mom Karla, who I work with, were going into Walmart when my mom, Tina, and I were leaving. After being introduced I texted Karla and told her "You never said your son was gorgeous!!" In October of 2019, my very best friend and current Maid of Honor, Serena, had to move to Atlanta for work meaning that I needed to find a new place to live since she was my roommate. Karla ended up telling me about the house next door to her being available for rent. I moved in next door to Karla and Larry. It also happens to be the road that several members of Kevin's family lives on. When the pandemic hit us and we had to quarantine I was invited over to have dinner and hang out. This is when Kevin and I started to fall for each other. Our chemistry was undeniable. We would play cards and have themed dinner nights and it was just a lot of fun and tons of laughter every time. Kevin and I started to text each other and hang out just the two of us in June and from there everything else was just a whirlwind romance. Two and a half weeks later, June 24th 2020, we started dating. We have been inseparable ever since. On November 26th, Thanksgiving Day, Kevin proposed to me at his Grandma Sandra's house. I was so excited my hands wouldn't stop shaking. I never truly believed a love as perfect and pure as this existed. Kevin and I have been on the same wavelength every step of our journey and know that this is true love and that we are so lucky to have found our person. I could not have a more perfect person for me. Kevin is sweet, funny, caring, compassionate, romantic, competitive, fun, smart, and outrageously handsome! I cannot wait to say “I do”.
