Loterie Farm offers a really cool pool scene with cabanas and live DJs. There is a beautiful treehouse restaurant that is perfect for lunch.

Pic Paradis is the highest mountain on the island of Saint Martin. Pic Paradis has several spectacular viewpoints and some lovely forests. Hiking the trails around Pic Paradis is a good way to exercise and take a break from the beaches. The bride and groom absolutely love this place for a hike and a drink afterwards in the treehouse restaurant. Loterie Farms also has a really cool pool scene with cabanas and live DJs.

This is a real bird lovers' paradise. You go into this bird sanctuary and they give you cups of bird seed. It's very interactive and you can get up close and personal with gorgeous birds of all colors and species. IT was super fun! The kids will love it!

Secluded yet spacious, Mullet Bay is a peaceful and relaxing alternative to Maho Beach. You can rent chairs and umbrellas from the snack bars on the south side of the beach, or head up to the quieter northern end, which leads to a small promontory with amazing views of the bay.

Regarded as one St-Martin’s most famous beaches, Orient Bay Beach enjoys the reputation of being the “St. Tropez of the Caribbean.” This stunning strip of white sand with clear turquoise waters is the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. There is no shortage of bars, restaurants, and beach clubs to choose from, and a strong breeze makes for great parasailing, kitesurfing, and hand gliding. While Plage Naturiste at the southern end is the designated nudist stretch of the beach, you will find that many visitors adopt a clothing-optional mindset all the way along Orient Bay Beach.

Located on the island's southwest tip, Cupecoy is a set of three beaches surrounded by limestone cliffs. It's also the last beach on the Dutch side before crossing the northern French border. Travelers say the sunsets here have to be seen to be believed, with dramatic views of Saba in the distance. Consider enjoying the day's end in one of the area's beach bars, or by buying a cold beer from one of the local vendors walking along the shore. Cupecoy Beach is also noteworthy as a LGBT-friendly beach, and families should beware the clothing-optional section of the beach's northwest end. Recent visitors said the beach is stunning and romantic and suggest getting there early to claim a spot in the sand.

Are you looking to relax in tranquility? Keep looking – Maho Bay beckons to amateur photographers, aviation fanatics and curious thrill-seekers. The southwestern beach's fame is due to its unusual proximity to the Princess Juliana International Airport. Every afternoon, travelers love to stand on the sands to take pictures of the approaching planes and feel their jet blasts. For many travelers, Maho Bay was a must-see bucket list-experience. Enjoying the beach and the planes is free, so splurge a little at the Sunset Beach Bar, which has a great vantage point. If you're not too scared, you can also try some windsurfing.

A magical mini island that is a 5-minute ferry ride or a quick, super fun kayak trip away. There are restaurants, gorgeous waters, and hiking trails with stunning views. all around the island. Fun fact: the bride and groom kayaked over one year and saw sea turtles pop their heads up!

For the best panoramic views of the island, head up to Rainforest Adventure. Not only can you go on a 360 tour of the island from the top of Sentry Hill via the Soualiga Sky Explorer chairlift, but you can zoom down to the bottom with the Flying Dutchman zipline, the steepest zipline in the world. From the top, you can see neighboring islands Saba, St. Barths, St. Eustatius, and Anguilla.

Visit the home of the “World’s Best Tasting Rhum” handmade right here in St. Maarten. A tour guide will walk you through our 6000 sq. ft. distillery. You will learn a little history of rum making in the Caribbean. After that you will see our blending process and how we expertly bottle our handcrafted rhums. You will then visit the lab and learn how we ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards and see how we create our different flavored rhums and try a new flavor that is in development. Following the tour you will be invited to our tasting bar where you be welcome to taste all of our artisanal products. You will even have the opportunity to bottle your very own Topper’s Rhum to take home!

The best boutique hotels are found in Grand Case, giving you front row access to beautiful crystal clear waters. During the day Grand Case is home to some of the island’s best beach bars and restaurants, such as Captain Frenchy’s, Le Temps des Cerises and Rainbow Cafe. Each place caters to different age groups. Bride and groom's recco: MUST TRY THE LOLOS! Another must-visit is the Lolo’s (locally owned, locally operated) where 6 different BBQ places each year again compete who has the best BBQ ribs, chicken, lobster, crab backs, acra, and much more… A truly local experience for either the day or during the night.
