Maid of Honor
As many know, J and I did not start off well haha! Many days of J and I being convinced that we would not in fact become the friends that everyone said we would when we got older. Everyone was right, and I am so thankful! J steadily, but quickly became a sister that I dearly trust, deeply admire, and am convinced is one of my best friends to this day.
Best Man
Oh man. The list of things I could say about Jonathan is long, but above all else he is a friend that has stuck closer than a brother to me. He is the most intentional person that I know and is constantly seeking to serve and help those around him. Throughout the years we have had so many conversations, car rides, and crazy stories that it would be hard to believe if told. Our friendship has developed into a brotherhood that has only grown stronger as time goes on and I am thankful to call him a true brother. It is an honor and privilege to have him stand by my side on this day.
Bridesmaid
Autumn is a friend everyone needs! I met Autumn at Camp Wabanna in Edgewater, Maryland. Autumn is a friend who is that hard combo to find of intentional, thoughtful, serious, yet not afraid of a goofy and fun time. A friend who loves the Lord and seeks kingdom relationships. I am thankful for a friendship like hers that feels like a direct gift from the Lord.
Groomsman
Since we met over 7 years ago, I have constantly looked up to Ben as godly example in my life. He is a true friend and brother, and has a knack for timely encouragement. Among the many things I have learned from Ben, the greatest has been to persevere. He has encouraged me to take heart with more running and rock climbing analogies than I can count, and I am the better for it! Our bike rides and sprint workouts have been the ultimate training ground for his analogies, and he demonstrated much kindness through both. It is a true joy to have him stand by my side at the wedding.
Bridesmaid
A teammate, a roommate, and friend all in one. Miriam has seen the college nights filled with joy and she has seen those nights where tears were flowing... from chemistry (lol!). She is a faithful friend who seeks to bring people together and enjoy a good time. She is kind and thoughtful, and always sees the good in others. So thankful for her to stand by me on May 31st!
Groomsman
Grant and I have worked side by side at Camp Wabanna during the summer for a "few" years now. As I have gotten to know Grant more and more throughout this time, he has become an older brother in so many ways. He has taught me much throughout the years and one of the things I appreciate about him most is how he is able to walk in maturity and seriousness while also being one of the most fun and goofy people I know. It is a privilege to have him by my side, bringing both of these qualities to the wedding party on this day!
Bridesmaid
Taylor Dawson is a friend who genuinely sharpens others, and has done that in my life. We started our friendship on the pitch at Milligan and our friendship has gotten sweeter through the seasons of life. The way that she leads in action love, and seeks excellence with everything her hands find, she is a rare find. The way she is in front of many, is exactly who she is behind closed doors. Honest and caring, genuine and hardworking, she is the epitome of a friend that everyone seeks to find.
Groomsman
In God's providence, Dylan became a friend and brother a few years ago through our local church. Though we have hardly been in the same place at the same time very long, he has become a dear friend whether he is near or far. Dylan is one of the most genuine and thoughtful people I know, always seeking to encourage those around him. It is a true blessing to have him in my wedding party on this special day.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and I have literally shared blood, sweat, and tears haha! A college friend who was always so faithful through highs and lows. My Irish friend has the softest heart and love for others. She is not afraid to tell the truth for the betterment of others. She is intuitive and observant, and always was a constant friend through college. She stands beside me on May 31st, because of how incredible of a friend she is.
Groomsman
Max and I have become close and developed a bond through a few different avenues. But whether it has been early morning calls, biking, or serving together, one of the things that stands out most about Max is how he consistently looks to encourage others. If you know Max, you know that he is one of the most kind and thoughtful people you have met and I have no doubt been a recipient of that myself. It is a joy to have him stand as my brother and by my side on this day.
