Carmel beach near our venue is an absolute must during your visit! If you prefer not to be on the sand, walk the bluff path on Scenic drive overlooking the water. It continues all the way to Carmel River Beach.
Garrapata Beach
Adorning the northern coastline of Big Sur with breathtaking vistas is Garrapata Beach. The perfect neighboring beach to Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Point Lobos State Natural Reserve
If you are interested in going for a hike, explore Point Lobos for gorgeous views. Arrive early for a parking spot in their lot, but road-side parking is typically available. Landscape Painter Francis McComas called Point Lobos "the greatest meeting of land and water in the world."
