Save the Date

Parker and I met in February of 2023 when I started coaching at Compound CrossFit. At the time, I was interested in the idea of beginning a career as a firefighter; however, I didn't know where to start. Coincidentally, my very close friend, Dori McConnell, knew a firefighter my age. She invited him to the gym to work out with her son, Logan, with whom I was also very close friends. As time progressed, Parker, Logan, and I spent more time hanging out after class. That then led to spending time together as a friend group outside of the gym with the rest of Logan's family. A few weeks later, I was invited to Parker's house for his 20th birthday party, gladly accepting the offer. Little did I know, Parker had an interest in me. Deep in my gut, I was aware of this fact, but I was unsure of my personal feelings. Time continued to pass as the two of us spent even more time together without the company of our other friends. We learned more and more about each other every day, and my feelings for him only grew more apparent. Parker and I fell for one another naturally and unconditionally. On April 30th, 2023, he asked me to be his girlfriend. On June 6th, 2025, he asked me to marry him. Without an ounce of hesitation, I said yes. I'm eternally blessed to get the opportunity to spend the rest of my life with my best friend, my partner, my other half, and the love of my life. Cheers to many years!
