Levi and I did quite a few trips at the end of 2024, including going out to Texas and a trip to Utah. At every trip, I thought "ohhhh this is definitely where we're getting engaged". After our annual Christmas time trip to Morro Bay, I stopped trying to guess when it would happen. We usually try to take Christmas pictures during that trip but I hadn't planned anything. So Levi suggested we should go take them at Huntington Beach that upcoming Sunday. We started the morning going for a little walk and coffee date before settling in to watch the Lion's play before heading to the beach. The Lions were down and I was dreading leaving the house but Levi had me hustle up to get going which... Levi never rushes me so I was a little miffed. We got down just in time and found a great spot to set up the tripod. We got everything ready and had Peeps come sit with us. We let the camera roll for a bit and then the big moment happened!!! Levi got down on one knee and I have no idea what he said.. I blacked out and started bouncing while he was trying to have me come back to him. I said yes, and luckily a sweet couple passing by also snagged a few pics and videos from another angle. It was so special and now any time we go down, we get to relive the special memory.
