we're getting married!

Bella and Joel’s love story has been decades in the making, even if they didn’t quite know it at the time. Growing up in the same school district, Bella and Joel were always just a few steps away from each other. They shared teachers, classmates, and even birthday parties. Joel and Bella's paths crossed often when they were kids, but the true spark didn’t fly until high school, and as they look back, they know it was God’s perfect timing. They started dating in November of 2019 and continued to date through Joel’s senior year and then Bella’s. When Bella left for college at Cal Poly SLO, they took on the challenge of long distance for four years. Then came the summer of 2025. They took an exciting vacation to Italy! On the evening of July 3rd, Joel led Bella on a quiet walk through the beautiful canals. He had found a small, hidden bridge, and there, in the heart of Venice, Joel proposed. A moment marked by love, joy, and deep gratitude for the One who brought them together.
