Travel Note
Our recommendation if you want to make a trip out of the weekend. Tarragona is a beautiful ocean-side city - with beautiful architecture and ancient ruins from its time as a Roman colony. Tarragona is a 25 min drive from Mas del Sord. We will arrange a shuttle bus to and from Mas del Sord on the wedding day - we will provide more information on this closer to. From Barcelona-El Prat Airport > Tarragona (1h09min) Airport Transfer (BusPlana): this is super convenient and common to use. The bus takes you directly to Tarragona bus station for 16€. From there you can take a taxi to your hotel. (Tip: we'd recommend ordering a taxi or you can call your hotel) We will provide further details with taxi #s, instructions of where to get the bus etc. on our website closer to the date. Private airport pick up: if you are arriving with multiple people it may be convenient to arrange a private airport pick up (it is around 200€, depending on the time of day). If you would like to stay closer to the venue before and on the night of the wedding you can find other hotel + airbnb options linked -- all within a 30 minutes drive. Note, you may need to arrange your own taxi to and from the venue, as we will only arrange a shuttle bus from Tarragona.

If you're staying in Barcelona before the wedding or short on time and coming directly from the airport, here is some helpful info: Barcelona to Mas del Sord approx. 1h25 min drive. Barcelona Airport to Mas del Sord approx 1h09min drive. Barcelona Airport to Tarragona approx 55 min drive or 1 hour by bus. IMPORTANT NOTE: As you can see these are longer journeys, for your comfort and safety, we would recommend for you to stay in Tarragona or near the venue on the night of the wedding. It will be very difficult to get a taxi back to Barcelona after the celebrations. If you have any questions or need recommendations in Barcelona please do not hesitate to ask us!
