Things To Do

The Mount, Edith Wharton's Home

The Mount, Edith Wharton's Home

2 Plunkett Street, Lenox, MA 01240

Edith Wharton's estate and sprawling gardens are breathtaking fit (also with a somewhat eerie and charming pet cemetery). We loved listening to Wharton's "Age of Innocence" on audiobook while driving around the Berkshires. She wrote a number of other inimitable works of literature such as "Ethan Frome" and "The House of Mirth."

Frelinghuysen Morris House & Studio
