Bella and Hunter go way back. Like, elementary school recess back. What started as a simple childhood friendship slowly turned into something more… though neither of them really had the courage (or social skills at that age) to do much about it. By junior high, it was pretty obvious there was a mutual crush, just with a lot of awkwardness and zero follow-through. Fast forward to their junior year of high school, when they reconnected and finally decided to get it together. From there, things took off. They built a real relationship, figuring things out as they had to navigate the usual ups and downs, including long distance, and learning that relationships take effort (and patience). After five and a half years of growing up together, Hunter knew it was time. During a trip to Hawaii, he took Bella on a peaceful sunrise, mile-long hike that led to a beautiful black sand beach. In that quiet, unforgettable moment, Hunter got down on one knee and asked Bella to spend forever with him. Bella, thankfully, said yes—making the long hike (and all those years of awkward middle school tension) completely worth it. What started as a childhood friendship turned into a lasting relationship, and they’re looking forward to what’s next. 🤍
