Thank you for making the journey to Italy for our wedding! Our hope is that you create lasting memories with your friends and family on this trip and that you fall in love with this little stretch of Italian coastline like we did. We can’t think of a better place to relax, swim, eat, and soak up the time with you all in the days surrounding our wedding. The ceremony and reception will take place in Zoagli, a small beach town on the Ligurian coast. For ease of access to our wedding events, we recommend staying in one of three nearby towns: Santa Margherita, Rapallo, or Zoagli. We will be staying at the Grand Hotel Bristol in Rapallo, where we will be hosting our Welcome Party for all guests on the 27th! Below are a few more hotel suggestions to help with your planning. There are also plenty of options available on VRBO and Airbnb if you prefer.

Flight

GOA / NCE / MXP

We recommend flying into Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport (GOA), which is about 40 minutes away and offers the easiest access via a short train ride or drive along the coast. Alternatively, Nice (NCE) and Milan (LIN or MXP) are great options with more international flights; both connect to Santa Margherita/Rapallo/Zoagli by train in about 2–4 hours.

Getting Around

Trains: Santa Margherita, Rapallo, and Zoagli are well connected by regional trains that run throughout the day. Tickets available for purchase at the local stations and cost about $4 each way. Taxis: Taxis are available, but not always abundant. In our experience, hotels and restaurants are typically happy to call one for you. If you find a driver you like, we highly recommend asking for their card and contacting them via WhatsApp for future rides. Car Rental: Rental cars are available at all major airports (including Genoa, Pisa, and Milan). An International Driving Permit (IDP) is required for most non-EU license holders.
