A SACRAMENTAL MARRIAGE, created by Carla Quigley, Catholic Artist expands on painting, "In Atonement for Our Sins," the Host, a crown and dove (Holy Spirit) at the top. And, Christ on the cross in the center of the painting reminds us that we must remain CHRIST CENTERED in our Sacramental Marriage. The intricate cross has hearts on each arm and at the bottom. There are also wedding rings connected with a cross at the bottom. On each side there are a cluster of grapes and a sheaf of wheat, fruit of the vine and work of human hands. The Holy Family is embracing in the shape of a heart. The bottom right corner has two hearts that overlap and form an Ichthys between them with a cross nestled inside. Christ connects us as the center of our Sacramental Marriage. Meanwhile, the night turns to day symbolizes ‘always’. (ART: pictured herein) SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE, created by Carla Quigley, Catholic Artist Centered at the top is the glorified Host which is positioned over two connected wedding rings with a cross in the space connecting them. This symbolizes our marriage as CHRIST CENTERED. The dove descending on the invitation represents the presence of the Holy Spirit in our marriage. The Sacred Heart in the top corner is filled with its own sacred mysteries. The green and gold Labarum emblem on the left display the first two Greek letters which spell Christ. This is bordered by the letters Alpha and Omega, which begin and end the Greek alphabet and symbolize the beginning and the end. On each side there are a bunch of grapes and a sheaf of wheat, fruit of the vine and work of human hands. The wine from the grapes transubstantiates into Christ’s blood as it falls into the chalice, which also bears the Labarum. At the bottom of the frame two hearts overlap and form an Ichthys between them with a cross nestled inside. Christ connects us as husband and wife and CHRIST remains as the center of our Sacramental Marriage (ART: Wedding Invite)
