Our Story

We walked through the same high school hallways, shared teachers and classmates, and even practiced in a gym where a father coached a young player who would someday be his son-in-law. We had no idea that this was God’s plan, but we could not be more grateful it was. Years passed and life took us in different directions, with Drew playing baseball at Biola University and Bella playing volleyball at Grand Canyon University. But somewhere in the miles between us, God was quietly doing what He has always done so faithfully. It started with Drew visiting Bella’s dad at her away game out in California. Next came a text (from Drew of course), which somehow turned into Bella flying out to California for our first date. What seemed so small at the time turned out to be the beginning of our forever. We have seen God's hand woven through every part of this story, in the timing that confused us before it made complete sense, in the seasons that stretched us and drew us closer, in the way He was shaping us individually long before He brought us together. His faithfulness has been more than we ever could have asked for. We believe with our whole hearts that marriage is one of the most beautiful gifts the Lord gives, a living picture of the way Christ loves His people with patience, sacrifice, and a grace that never runs out. It is the kind of love we want to build our entire life on, and the kind we pray we reflect to one another in every moment we are given. We are so deeply grateful for every person who has walked alongside us and loved us well. You have shaped us, encouraged us, and pointed us back to Him more times than you will ever know. As we step into this covenant together, your prayers would mean more to us than we can express. We pray that our love would deepen with every year we are given together, that we would keep seeking Him above all else, and that we would never stop choosing each other with the same love He has so graciously shown us. All of the glory belongs to God, who loved us first and who has overwhelmed us with more grace and goodness than we could have ever deserved. With all of our love, the future Zittels
